5 to 6 chicken pieces (legs, thighs, breasts, or any combination)
2/3 cup of American Garden barbecue sauce
|
1) Preheat the oven to 232°C. Line a 9-by13-2 inch baking pan with aluminum foil, non-stick (dull) side facing up.
2) Rinse the chicken and pat dry. Coat both sides of the chicken pieces with about half of the barbecue sauce. Lay the chicken in the foil-lined pan. Reserve the rest of the barbecue sauce for basting.
3) Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, brushing the top of the chicken with barbecue sauce every 15 minutes, until the chicken is tender, the juices run clear, and an instant-read or meat thermometer registers 76°C for the breast and 82°C for the leg or thigh
