Peanut Butter Cheesecake Surprise |
1 1/2 cup crushed dark chocolate wafers
2 Tbsp. sugar
3 Tbsp. butter
1 square (1 ounce) melted unsweetened chocolate
1 can (21 ounces) American Garden Apple Pie Filling
2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
3 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup American Garden creamy peanut butter

1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine chocolate wafers, 2 Tbsp. sugar, melted butter and unsweetened chocolate. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
2. Top crust with apple fruit filling. In another medium mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese, eggs, 1/2 cup sugar and peanut butter until thoroughly mixed.
3. Pour over apple fruit filling. Bake in preheated 325ºF oven for 60 minutes. Remove from oven and cool.
4. Optional: The cooled pie can be decorated with whipped topping, drizzled with chocolate and caramel sauce and then sprinkled with chopped peanuts.
