An American-style burger that will please kids and adults alike. For a more satisfying meal, serve with French fries and some extra ketchup!
1- In a bowl, mix together meat with breadcrumbs, egg, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
2- Divide the meat into 4 patties then place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
3- Preheat the grill on medium heat and grease with little oil.
4- Cook the burger patties for 3-4 minutes on one side. Flip the patties. After 1 minute, top each patty with one cheese slice. Leave to melt.
5- Halve the burger bun and spread 1 teaspoon of mayonnaise and 1 teaspoon of mustard on the bottom half.
6- Arrange 1 lettuce leaf on the bottom then top with the meat.
7- Add a tomato slice and an onion slice then again 1 lettuce leaf. Top with the other bun half. Serve immediately.
