The original Classic Caesar salad that you usually order at restaurants can now be prepared at home with our special recipe. This easy salad recipe will surely be your new favourite. The winning combination of crispy chicken and a creamy salad makes it a classic. Try this chicken Caesar Salad for lunch or dinner!


  • 250g Italian Bread or French Baguette, cut into 3/4 inch cubes
  • 6 Tbsp. olive oil
  • Salt-to-taste
  • 2 Tsp garlic powder
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • 8 Chicken breasts cut into cubes
  • 1 iceberg lettuce
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • American Garden Creamy Caesar dressing to taste


  1. 1. Place bread cubes on a baking sheet and drizzle with 4 tablespoons of oil. Season with salt and garlic powder then toss to coat. Bake in a 190 ºC preheated oven until golden, around 12 minutes, tossing occasionally. Remove from oven and leave to cool.
    2. Season chicken cubes with salt and black pepper. Heat remaining oil in a large skillet. Cook chicken until brown, 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and leave to cool.
    3. Tear the iceberg lettuce into pieces using your hands. Arrange on a large serving platter. Top with croutons, chicken and Parmesan cheese.
    4. Drizzle with the creamy Caesar dressing and serve immediately.

    Note: You can make the croutons 3 days ahead and store them in a resealable plastic bag or in an airtight container, at room temperature.
