Ingredients

  • 8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs (can replace with chicken breast)
  • 2 tablespoons of American Garden soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • ½ finely minced onion
  • 3 finely minced cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • Salt to taste
  • Minced cilantro
  • Peanut butter sauce:
  • ½ cup of American Garden's Natural Peanut Butter
  • 400g can of crushed tomato
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of cumin
  • 1 tablespoon of coriander
  • A pinch of pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. 1- Place the chicken thighs in a large mixing basin and cut them into bite-sized pieces. Mix in American Garden soy sauce. Allow the chicken to marinade while you prepare the onion and sauce.
    2- In a medium-sized mixing bowl, whisk together all of the peanut butter sauce ingredients.
    3- In a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, heat the oil. Pour the chicken and soy sauce into the pan (careful, it will splatter) and arrange the chicken in a single layer. Allow it to cook for 5 minutes, then turn the chicken pieces over and cook for another 5 minutes.
    4- Cook the onion in the pan for 3 minutes, or until it is transparent—Cook for one more minute after adding the garlic and ginger.
    5- Pour the peanut butter sauce and heat for 3 minutes or until it thickens slightly. Season with salt to taste and garnish with chopped cilantro. Seriously, so delicious!
