Tandoori beef

Ingredients

  • 500g sirloin steak cut into cubes

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

  • ½ tsp ground coriander

  • ½ tsp cumin

  • ½ tsp curcuma

  • 2 tbsp American Garden hot sauce

  • 1 tsp Garam Masala

  • ½ cup yogurt

  • 2 minced garlic cloves

  • 1 tsp grated ginger

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 onion cut into medium-sized cubes

  • 1 green bell pepper cut into cubes

  • _For serving:

  • American Garden ketchup-to-taste

Preparation

  • In a bowl, whisk together yogurt, oil, hot sauce, garlic, ginger, coriander, cumin, curcuma, Garam Masala and salt.

  • Add beef cubes, toss to coat and cover. Refrigerate for 2 to 4 hours.

  • Thread the meat onto wooden skewers alternating with the onion and green bell pepper.

  • Preheat the grill to medium heat.

  • Grill the beef, turning once, until done.

  • Transfer to plates and serve with ketchup.
