Ingredients

  • 2 Cans American Garden Chick Peas Classic

  • ¼ Cup American Garden Lemon Juice from Concentrate

  • 1 Clove Garlic, Crushed

  • 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil

  • ½ Tsp. Salt

  • ¼ Tsp. Cumin

  • ¼ Cup Pine nuts, toasted

Preparation

  • Pour American Garden chickpeas with their water in a sauce pan over medium heat until warm. Drain and set aside, leaving half cup of the water aside.

  • In a bowl, mix garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, salt and cumin.

  • Add chickpeas water and stir again.

  • Pour the mixture over the chickpeas and mix together.

  • Garnish with toasted pine nuts and serve immediately.
