Rolled up with American Garden breadcrumbs and filled with cheese, these crunchy fried potato balls will definitely please all your guests!


Ingredients

  • To prepare the fried potato balls:
  • 500 g boiled and mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, each beaten in a bowl
  • 2 cup American Garden plain bread crumbs
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 150 g mozzarella cheese cut into cubes
  • Oil for frying as needed
  • To prepare the dip:
  • American Garden Ranch sauce

Instructions

  1. 1- Place the mashed potatoes in a bowl. Stir in the flour, 1 beaten egg and 1 cup of American Garden bread crumbs. Season with salt and black pepper then mix until well combined.
    2- Scoop a medium-sized ball of potato mixture and flatten into a small pancake using your hands. Place a cube of cheese in the center. Wrap the potato mixture around the cheese. Repeat.
    3- Dip each ball successively in the egg bowl then roll in the bread crumbs. Fry the balls in batches until golden on all sides.
    4- Serve hot with American Garden Ranch sauce.
