A well made seafood stew impresses your guests like no other. The balance of flavors and creaminess make this recipe a coveted one. It’s relatively easy to make and can even be made for larger groups of people. The one ingredient that ties it all together is the American Garden Spicy Brown Mustard. The deeper flavor and coarse texture of this mustard make it an impeccable addition to this recipe, giving it an extraordinary taste. So let’s get into this delicious recipe that’s perfect for family dinners!
Thoroughly rinse the leeks and chop the onion, garlic, dill, leeks and celery. Chop the fish into bite-sized pieces and pat them dry with a paper towel.
Season the fish with salt and then coat them with flour. Now, take the coated fish and shallow fry until brown on both sides. Set the fish aside for now.
In the same pot add garlic, onions, leek and celery and sauté for 5 minutes. To this add fish stock, allspice and a bay leaf and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
Next, add cream and the American Garden Spicy Brown Mustard. Let it simmer for another 5 minutes. As it simmers, season it with salt, pepper and sugar to taste.
Remove the pot from heat, transfer the fish pieces that were set aside into the stew. Let it sit for another 5-10 minutes before serving it with a sprinkle of dill and bread or potatoes. Bon appétit!
