Apple Walnut Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette

Apples are everyone’s favourite, and it can be a part of a tasty lunch or dinner as a filling salad. Apple Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette is an easy salad recipe, which is the perfect combo of sweet and savoury, with the apples and pickled cucumbers bringing in the sweet taste and balsamic dressing adding the tangy delicious flavour.  Feta cheese adds saltiness required to balance the salad. It also includes a few staple ingredients like walnuts, cranberry, and baby spinach.

Ingredients

  • 8 cups chopped baby spinach.

  • 1 medium apple, chopped in long, thin slices

  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced onions

  • 1 cup walnuts roughly chopped.

  • 1/3 cup crumbled feta cheese

  • 1/2 cup American Garden Pickled Cucumber Dill Flavoured, chopped

  • 1/2 cup cranberry chopped.

  • 2 tablespoons of American Garden’s Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, add the baby spinach, cranberry, onions, walnuts, Apple American Garden’s Pickled Cucumber and feta cheese. Pour 2 tablespoons of American Garden’s balsamic vinaigrette. Toss the salad to mix the ingredients well and serve immediately.

  • Cut the apples just before serving to prevent browning. Or you can dip the apples in lemon juice before serving them.
