Barbecued onion meat loaves

For all meat loaves lovers, try this recipe with American Garden Barbecue Sauce. It’s one of those incredibly simple recipes.

  • 1 egg, lightly beaten

  • 1/3 cup of milk

  • 2 tablespoons

  • 1/2 cup American Garden barbecue sauce

  • 1 tablespoon onion soup mix

  • 1-1/4 pounds lean ground beef (90% lean)

  • Minced fresh parsley, optional

  • Hot cooked white rice, optional


  • Pre-heat the oven to 425°.

  • In a large bowl, mix the ¼ cup of barbecue sauce, onion soup mix, milk and egg all together.

  • Crumble the beef with this mixture and mix it well.

  • Shape the mixture into two or three loaves.

  • Put it in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes till the mixture reach 160°.

  • Take it out, cover it with ¼ cup of barbecue sauce and serve it.

  • Optional, It can be garnished with Minced fresh parsley and served with white rice.
