How Can You Make the Perfect Grilled Chicken Steak?
To make the perfect chicken steak, pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness (about ¾ inch) before marinating. This helps the chicken cook evenly. When grilling, don’t press down on the chicken with a spatula as it squeezes out the juices. Let the grill create those beautiful char marks. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness and keep the chicken moist.
What Is the Best Way to Store Cooked Chicken Steak?
Store cooked chicken in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and keep extra sauce separately for up to 5 days. Slice leftover chicken for easy reheating. You can freeze the chicken for up to 2 months and use the sauce as a condiment for other grilled meats.
