  • 1 chicken, cut into 8 pieces

  • 6 garlic cloves

  • 2 Tbsp. oregano

  • Salt-to-taste

  • White pepper-to-taste

  • Zest of 2 lemons

  • 1 cup olive oil

  • 1 cup American Garden yellow mustard- spicy brown

  • 3 cups American Garden Hot and Spicy bread crumbs

  • Vegetable oil, for deep frying

  • For serving:

  • American Garden mayonnaise

  • American Garden Ketchup


  • In a chopper, combine garlic, oregano leaves, 3 tsp. of salt and 2 tsp. of white pepper; process until garlic is finely minced. Add the bread crumbs, lemon zest and olive oil. Pulse a few times then pour mixture in a large dish.

  • Season chicken pieces all over with salt and pepper, then cover with mustard.

  • Coat with the crumb mixture. Press gently to make sure the crumbs adhere.

  • Heat enough oil in a frying pan. Fry the chicken pieces until golden on all sides.

  • Remove from heat and put on a paper towel to remove excess oil.

  • For Serving: In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise with the ketchup.
