Foul Medames

In this recipe, fava beans are seasoned with garlic, lemon juice and olive oil for maximum taste. Serve this addictive dish as a fulfilling breakfast in the morning or a side dish at you dinner table!

  • 500g American Garden Foul Medames

  • 1Tsp. Chopped Garlic

  • 2 Tbsp. Olive oil

  • 2 Tsp. Paprika

  • Salt-to-taste

  • 1 Tbsp. American Garden Lemon juice

  • 20g dried parsley


  • Put foul medames in a large mixing bowl and mash half of the quantity, using the back of a ladle or a potato masher.

  • Heat olive oil in a pan, add chopped garlic and sauté for a while.

  • Add paprika powder and foul and cook for 4-5 minutes.

  • Season with salt and finish with lemon juice and dried parsley.

  • Serve with arabic bread.
