Potato Chips

An alternative to readymade potato chips, this recipe is roasted to get crispy and less greasy chips. And the best is that it’s served with a delicious sauce mixture.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Potatoes cut into strips

  • ½ Cup Parsley Flakes

  • ½ Cup American Garden Hot Sauce

  • 1½ Tsp. Roasted Cumin Powder

  • 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil

  • 1Tbsp. Lemon Juice

  • Salt-to-taste

  • Pepper-to-taste

  • A small bunch of Spring onion

  • To prepare the sauce:

  • 2 Tsp. American Garden Tomato ketchup

  • 1 Tbsp. Lemon juice

  • 1 Tbsp. American Garden Hot Sauce

Preparation

  • Preheat the Oven at 180 ºC.

  • Combine olive oil, cumin, lemon juice, hot sauce, parsley flakes and salt.

  • Add potato slices and gently toss to coat them nicely.

  • Gently grease a tray with some oil and arrange the marinated potato on it.

  • Roast the mixture in the oven for 10-12 minutes, until cooked and crispy.

  • To make the sauce, mix tomato ketchup, hot sauce and lemon juice. Pour the mixture over crispy roasted potatoes.

  • Sprinkle with freshly chopped spring onion and serve hot.
