Potato gratin

We added mayonnaise to this traditional recipe to make it even creamier! Serve it as a side dish to accompany your main courses.

Ingredients

  • 6 potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced

  • 180 ml milk

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 200 ml cooking cream

  • 1/3 cup American Garden U.S. mayonnaise

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella

  • ½ cup shredded parmesan

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp black pepper

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 180˚C and grease a baking dish with butter.

  • In a bowl, mix together the milk with cooking cream, American Garden mayonnaise and garlic. Season with salt and black pepper.

  • Layer the potato slices in the baking dish and pour the previous mixture.

  • Sprinkle with mozzarella and parmesan cheese.

  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake for about 50 minutes.

  • Remove the foil and serve immediately.
