Salted Caramel Apple Popcorn

If your kids are having friends over for movies and you don’t have much time to prepare snacks, this recipe is you go to choice! It doesn’t only look pretty, but tastes heavenly too!

  • ‎8 Cups American Garden Microwave Popcorn ‎Natural

  • ‎10 Large Apples‎

  • ‎2 Cups Granulated Sugar‎

  • ‎½ Cup Water

  • ‎110g Salted Butter‎

  • ‎1 Cup Heavy Cream‎


  • In a large saucepan over high heat, combine sugar and water. Bring to boil while stirring ‎constantly until sugar dissolves.‎

  • Stop stirring and let the mixture boil until its colour becomes light brown.‎

  • Add the butter to the mixture, and heavily whisk until combined. The mixture will bubble. Let ‎the ingredients boil again for 1 minute.‎

  • Take the pan off the heat and carefully pour in the cream. The mixture will bubble again.‎

  • Stir the mixture until combined and pour into a flat oven pan.‎

  • Prepare the popcorn as per the instructions on the package. Transfer to a tray.‎

  • Stick half a wooden skewer in each of the apples then, one by one, dip them in the caramel ‎sauce and then in the popcorn.‎
